    CALLE VOLTA

A Modern Jazz Trio with a Fresh Take

Calle Volta is a dynamic jazz trio featuring Andrea Piva on guitar, Daniele Cortese on fretless bass, and Patrizio Balzarini on drums. Formed in Milan in 2022, the group emerged organically from a series of musical meetups where their instant chemistry and shared artistic vision were undeniable.

In their early days, Calle Volta focused on live performances, building their synergy on stage and refining their collective sound. Now, they’re carving out their identity with a carefully selected repertoire that blends original compositions with a few timeless jazz classics.

The trio’s music is all about finding balance: their diverse influences—from jazz to funk, Latin to electronic—come together to create a cohesive and contemporary sound. Their mission? To turn their individual voices into a unified, modern jazz experience.
